Last week, Greenway Pines Golf Test Club was abuzz with the excitement and competitive spirit of the Pine Masters Tournament, an annual event that has become a cherished tradition among our members and the local golf community. Over the course of seven sun-drenched days, golfers from near and far converged on our impeccably manicured fairways to showcase their skills and vie for the coveted Pine Masters title.

Club President, Alex Montgomery, delivered a heartfelt speech on the rich history of the Pine Masters and its role in promoting sportsmanship and excellence in the game of golf. With the ceremonial first drive, a perfectly arced shot against the backdrop of our towering pines, the competition was officially underway.

Each day brought its own drama and excitement as amateurs and seasoned pros alike navigated the strategic challenges of Greenway Pines’ renowned course. The signature 8th hole, known affectionately as “The Whisperer,” lived up to its reputation by testing the mental and physical mettle of our players with its tricky dogleg and cunningly placed bunkers.
